Refresh, Explore, Commit: Summer Retreat

Ready to take the next step toward membership at Worthington UMC? Want to learn more about what Worthington UMC does in our community? Looking to brush up on your theology? Your pastors are excited to offer another way to grow in your faith through our “Refresh. Explore. Commit.” Summer Retreat on Sunday, July 14 from 11:30am-2:30pm. This offering is for those looking to brush up on the fundamentals of our faith, who are curious about Christianity in general or Worthington UMC in particular, or who are exploring membership at Worthington UMC. The content covered in this retreat matches the material of the weekly classes that take place in the fall, winter, and spring.

This retreat will meet the education requirement for those interested in becoming members of Worthington UMC. Pizza will be provided and childcare is available upon request.

Topics covered include basic Christian theology, Methodist doctrine and history, sacrament, testimony, the membership vows, and growing in your faith at Worthington UMC
