Our church offers many opportunities to share God’s grace and love through giving to others. It feels good to know you’re making a difference in our neighborhood, the country and the world. Find purpose by sharing your gifts and talents and joining with others
Change lives through our mission and outreach programs. We partner with organizations in the Columbus area and serve our neighbors by collecting food and clothing, preparing and serving meals, or making sleeping mats for those living outdoors. Join a team to rebuild in disaster areas. Share God’s grace and love through giving to others.

Family Ministry programs are fun ways to bond with the church family as you raise your children to love and serve God. There are programs and special events for all ages-Vacation Bible School in the summer, the Easter egg hunt on the lawn, picnics and potlucks and Trunk or Treat. Weekly gathering events for children and teens support them on their faith journey, through relationship building, fun and service to others.
Become part of worship and praise God through music. Join the adult choir to enhance the 10am Sunday service. All ages are invited to join a hand bell choir. Rainbow singers for the preschoolers and children’s choir through 6th grade are music opportunities for our young people. Join us for special music including concerts on the lawn in summer and the well-known Good Friday concert.
Deepen your relationship with God and each other by joining adult groups. Opportunities include Around the Table dining groups that commune periodically over a meal; join United Women in Faith or United Methodist Men, participate in a prayer group, become part of a walking group. Make a difference by volunteering right here at WUMC. Greet worshippers on Sunday morning, serve hospitality between services, assist with administrative functions during the week, serve Holy Communion, count the collection or assist with Sunday School classes.
