Familiar hymns, inspiring choral music and thought-provoking sermons are what you’ll find every Sunday in the main sanctuary. The first Sunday of each month we celebrate Holy Communion. Children’s Church, where children can enjoy a special service tailored to their needs is an option.
Uplifting contemporary music and real world sermons communicate God’s message as the hallmark of these alternative worship services held in the Potter Chapel every Sunday. We celebrate Holy Communion during this service on the first Sunday of each month. Children’s Church and Nursery and Toddler Care are available for our youngest worshippers.
Get an early start to Summer Sunday’s in the Potter Chapel. These tradition-based worship services are offered June 2 through August 25.
The Taizé experience offers worshippers an opportunity to reclaim their calm, sure focus on God’s presence in their lives. Taizé started in France as a youth movement after the second World War, as a way to bring hope and peace to a discouraged generation. Today, Taizé has spread throughout the world, bringing its message of healing to an ever-growing number of participants.
On occasion throughout the year, we will forgo our two services at 9:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. for one blended service. Blended services start at 10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary.
Worshipping with the whole congregation is so important for children. The opportunity to also spend time with other children helps them build relationships with each other and further their faith development. That’s why during the second half of our worship services we offer children from 4 years to 3rd grade to opportunity to participate in Children’s Church. This wonderful children’s program tailors scripture readings, lessons and activities to be more approachable to our younger ones.
New Member classes are available to help you meet other new members, discover ways you can get involved in the church, and become familiar with some of the history and core beliefs of the United Methodist Church.
The next New Member Class will be a one-day class on Sunday, August 18, from 10:40 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Lunch is provided, and childcare is available.
