As we continue to dive deeper into the housing insecurity that is currently affecting the City of Columbus and our area, the Worthington United Methodist Church Leadership Board invites you to participate in a Poverty Simulation.
During the simulation, participants will be assigned a role in a family to live and make decisions as those who experience poverty might.
The simulation will be held on Sunday, September 29 in the Fellowship Hall. We will gather to have boxed lunches immediately after the 10am worship service concludes. The simulation will be start around noon and will be approximately 2 hours in length. Childcare will be available.
We would love to have you all come experience this simulation and help us further understand our neighbors and friends who are experiencing poverty.
