Worthington UMC Marches in Pride Parade

Worthington UMC decorated the church van and loaded up on Saturday, June 18, to march in the Columbus Pride Parade. The weather was beautiful and the vibes were immaculate.  We were there to support the LGBTQIA+ community, and as a reminder that God loves all his children.

WUMC is a member of the Reconciling Ministries Network, and is dedicated to building a more
diverse community of committed Christian servants. Our motto is “Open Hearts. Open Minds. Open Doors.”

The Reconciling Ministries Network (RMN) is an organization seeking the inclusion of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities in both the policy and practices of the United Methodist Church. RMN celebrates that LGBTQIA+ persons are an expression of God’s diverse creation and exists to advocate for the affirmation of all of God’s children in the Church and the world.
