It begins on March 25, Palm Sunday and is a time of reflection on the events preceding Jesus’ death: his triumphant entry into Jerusalem; his betrayal by Judas; his Last Supper with his twelve apostles; his arrest, crucifixion and death; and his burial in a tomb, leading up to Easter.
Palm Sunday, March 25: Celebrate Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. We will have palms available as we prepare for the Passion Week to come. Children’s Choir will sing at the 9:30 service. Rainbow Singers will share at the 11:15 service.
Maundy Thursday, March 29: Together with the congregation of St. John’s AME church, we have a Passover Seder meal as we remember the Last Supper. Share with our partners in the community of Christ at 7:00pm at 7700 Crosswoods Drive
Good Friday, March 30: The Worthington community of believers come together on the city’s central green for the Community Worship Service. Starting at noon in front of Worthington Presbyterian Church, 773 High Street, then traveling to seven worship stations around the Village Green, experiencing the seven last words of Christ. Worthington UMC hosts one of the stations. The service ends at the cemetery at St. John’s Episcopal Church.
Good Friday Service with Special Music, March 30: 7:30 p.m., in the Sanctuary, featuring Franz Schubert’s “Mass in G,” performed by the Chancel choir with organ and strings, directed by Linda Nolan.

Easter Day, April 1
Christ Is Risen! Easter is the day to proclaim the resurrection of Jesus and celebrate in community the joy given by the love and grace of God.
Easter Service 9:30, April 1. Our traditional service in the Sanctuary features festive music with Chancel Choir, organ and brass instrumentation. Everyone is welcome!
Easter Emerge Service,11:15, April 1. This service features energetic vocal and instrumental music with a contemporary flavor. Everyone is welcome!
No Sunday School classes on Easter. Classes will resume on April 8.
You are invited to bring some cut, fresh flowers of your choice to decorate the cross in our courtyard, in celebration of Easter.
