Special Christmas Music
“Christmas Cantata” by Daniel Pinkham
December 15, 9:30 am
Set for brass, organ, and chorus, Pinkham’s Christmas Cantata is one of the composer’s best-known works. Shifting from energetic to reverent, and back again, the cantata weaves early and contemporary music styles together to create memorable melodies and rhythmic excitement with Latin texts. Our Director of Music, Jarod Ogier, will lead the Chancel Choir, our organist – Narmina Aliyeva, and guest brass players from Capital University as they present the work at the 9:30 am service.
