Join us for a powerful evening with journalist and anthropologist Brian Goldstone as he discusses his acclaimed book “There Is No Place for Us: Working and Homeless in America” – called an “exceptional feat of reporting” by The New York Times.

Thursday, September 18 | 6:30-8:00 PM
Worthington United Methodist Church
600 High Street, Worthington, OH 43085

Goldstone’s groundbreaking work exposes the dramatic rise of the “working homeless” in cities across America, following families who work full-time jobs yet struggle to remain housed in an increasingly unequal society. His book reveals that there isn’t a single state, metropolitan area, or county in the United States where a full-time worker earning minimum wage can afford a two-bedroom apartment.

The evening will include:

  • Author presentation
  • Q&A session
  • Book signing opportunity

This is a vital conversation about housing as a human right and the hidden crisis affecting working families nationwide.

This New York Times Book Review Editors’ Choice exposes how families are being forced into homelessness not by a failing economy, but a thriving one.
