Martin Luther King Community Celebration

Join the Worthington community to celebrate and honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., at the annual celebration on Monday, January 15 at 11am at the Worthington United Methodist Church.
The free event will feature remarks from keynote speaker Ange-Marie Hancock, Executive Director of the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity at OSU, and musical performances by Capriccio Youth and Jubilee Choirs. Refreshments will be served following the program.

As a tribute to Dr. King’s commitment to helping those in need, everyone attending the program is asked to bring canned food items to be donated to the Worthington Resource Pantry.The City of Worthington

Community Relations Commission sponsors the annual MLK Day event in partnership with Worthington Libraries, Worthington Schools, the Worthington Alliance of Black Families and Educators and the Worthington United Methodist Church.
